I expected to like it more than I did, since I couldn't wait to get myself a copy and start reading it.
I thought it would be more fantasy than romance, but it was actually the opposite. I think that in a way, the magic aspect sometimes takes the backseat, but it didn't necessarily make it bad, it just wasn't what I was expecting when I started it.
Rating it as a romance, it was very cute and sweet and I think I'd reread it whenever I want something comforting.
Over all I really enjoyed it and got through it fairly quickly.
