Highly suggestive and allegorical. The play with language is so vivid and magical that you can almost taste all those fruits and hear the way the goblins sing/chant those verses.
The sisterhood theme was fresh and enjoyable. However, be mindful of the antisemitism in this poem when reading it, and if you like it, I suggest trying to find retellings that avoid these harmful stereotypes and preferably, written by jewish authors.
