i think this is a good starting point for a lot of greek/roman myths but nothing more than that. it skims the basics and several different stories.

Brilliant! Learnt a lot, the book definitely does what it’s marketed to do - offer a complete guide to the world of Greek/Roman myth which is for amateurs (?) whilst also being academic enough, and allowing a springboard into reading the Iliad/odyssey as I now have a strong basic knowledge of the myths. Justttt what I wanted from it and it delivered. Couldn’t give it 5 stars but is definitely a solid 4.5. Highly recommend!

Great to dip in and out of. Very clear and easy to read with nice illustrations. Very aesthetically pleasing book.
