Gorgeous cover, but unfortunately I didn't love this. The characters were felt flat and contrived, the prose was a bit wordy and over complicated at times, and to be honest - I wasn't scared or even creeped out at all, which I was hoping to be. I'm not disinterested in Khaw's other work, though, this story just wasn't for me.
Ooh I wanted so much more from this, but I was also so confused. This book shouldn't have taken me this long to finish, but it did and that says something..
