The best part of this book was the last few pages giving me hope on all the future books.

Lark Taylor quickly became my favourite author, I could very easily give all of her books 5 stars and but some definitely stand out more than the others.

Don’t get me wrong this book was amazing the storyline was great and it has set up another long term story. I really like the slow introduction of the hypocrisy of heaven which makes the inner atheist in me happy seeing heaven being painted in a bad light.

Micah was gorgeous I loved him so much and will one of my favourite characters. I have such strange feelings about Nox, I think if he didn’t do that whole self sacrifice thing he would’ve been probably up their on the book boyfriend list, maybe it’s also because he was a newer character Lark hadn’t introduced much in her universe before.

It’s like he’s a complete recipe for a perfect book boyfriends, tattoos, motorbike, piercings. All amazing
The dates he took Micah on to distract him were so perfect, kinda wished the author added a 100 pages giving us more detail there. But the strange characterisation of Nox was supposedly a lot weaker than previous characters was just strange for me.

Very good PNR Angel x Demon. You do not have to read the Reckless Damned and Damned Connections series to understand Micah and Nox's story however, there are a few characters that cross over. I really enjoyed the push and pull of the characters. The hatred they felt that turned into pure devotion. The story and world building were top notch. If you enjoy enemies to lovers with PNR MCs this one is for you.

This is book 1 in the Hopeless Blessed series & my first time reading a book by Lark Taylor.
I loved this book and what a great start to this new series.

Micah & Nox their enemies to lovers journey was funny , sweet , hottt, sad and swoon.

Nox is that guy and I couldn’t get enough of him. His personality and how he was throughout this book was . Micah was sweet and despite being a soldier and leader of the most powerful army in heaven , I liked that he still had his vulnerabilities and loads of self doubt. Also he was selfless in the sacrifices he made on behalf of his team. Nox then comes into the picture and helps him find that balance and he starts to see his self worth and heal emotionally through all his recent struggles with acceptance.

The spice was scorching & there was plenty of it through their story as it also helped to form a lot of their bonding.

Can’t wait for the other books in this series , also the intro to the other characters and the world they live in.
