This was a good sports romance (hockey/dance) but not my favorite. The FMC and MMC were believable with flaws and both grew which I appreciated. The story itself was slower than I would have liked. I think the book could have been shorter. Some spicy scenes, some funny ones... Overall enjoyable.

I enjoyed this book up until about the 70% mark, then I think it was just dragged out unnecessarily for the last few hundred pages. Not the best sports romance I’ve ever read, but an okay read on the whole.

What I loved: The overall story was so sweet. I was rooting for them to be together from the beginning, and I think the side characters were just as lovable as the main.

What could have been better: Like many of the other reviews, it didn’t need to be that long of a book. I really enjoyed it but it could
have been shortened down a bit.
I think making BOTH main characters end up in the hospital within a short time span felt a bit forced. I understand how it pushed the story along, but I think that could have been done without Scarlett going to the hospital.
