I had fun listening to this and I really liked the relationship but this had no reason to be soo long 😴 + as a person with chronic pain, I loved seeing an FMC with it but I hated how she was so against using pain meds – that's super weird and dumb rhetoric and I wish Ana wouldn't have included it or treated it a bit more sensibly at least

i think Asher Donovan is the most normal male protagonist of the Ana Huang universe - respectful, nice and thoughtful and he goes to therapy too, i would be in love with him in a second.
The book was a bit too long and got to descriptive in places where it wasn’t needed. Predictable, the characters weren’t that interesting but it’s the nature of the book. I enjoyed it and especially in some parts couldn’t put it down. The female protagonist was quite self aware which i liked - fresh air. Nice one in general.

The book was nice but I didn't really like the Fmc. And I felt like this book should not be this long. I felt like some of the parts was not needed. And I am really excited for the 2nd book!

I know nothing about football but love Ted Lasso and ballet and Europe so this was a win all around I LOVE Asher and Scarlet as a couple and the chronic pain representation!!

I enjoyed this book up until about the 70% mark, then I think it was just dragged out unnecessarily for the last few hundred pages. Not the best sports romance I’ve ever read, but an okay read on the whole.
