I’m a sucker for a billionaire romance, then you add on the fake dating, but also a sweet, sexy male lead character, I mean come on a must have book for sure. Well that is what this book was for sure. This book doesn’t miss and you will fall for this steamy and sweet holiday romance that gives you all of the holiday feels and makes you want to have it ready for a re-read immediately during the holidays! Wilder and Fable take us through this humorous and fun yet beautiful story. The chemistry between Wilder and Fable practically leaps off the page, making it impossible not to root for them. This story was full of festive charm.  Definitely worth reading and highly recommend. I will definitely be coming back to this book once the holiday season starts.

This book is the only reason I'm excited for winter because it will officially be holiday romance season! This book will get you in the holiday spirit with the holiday competitions and magical holiday moments. You may never hear the word eggnog the same again but it'll be worth it I promise!

This book has some couple cameos from other books by Lauren Blakely but I hadn't read any of them before reading this one. Definitely would make the cameos better but doesn't take away from the story. And now I have a whole bunch of books on my TBR because of course I got invested in the side characters.

A story to warm your heart this holiday season!

**This was my 2nd read-through and I was just as charmed by the characters as before!

My Favorite Holidate is brimming with lovable characters we've come to adore from Lauren Blakely's previous books. The found family dynamic--a personal favorite trope of mine--shines beautifully in this story.

I especially loved all the matchmaking sprinkled throughout, but Mac absolutely stole the show for me. Every time she appeared on the page, she completely stole my heart.

I can't imagine being stuck with a cheating ex, but Fabel's huge heart and her efforts to protect others from her own drama--even at her own expense--made her so easy to love and root for.

Watching their connection deepen into a meaningful relationship, with just the right touch of revenge, was immensely satisfying. The audiobook features a full cast, beautifully bringing the story to life!

lighthearted

At the very beginning, I was really excited about My Favorite Holidate. I typically go into books totally blind, so I had no idea where it was headed. I liked the initial moment of the main character, Fable, finding a bit of a spark with her billionaire boss, Wilder. As the story went on, I loved their chemistry and how everything played out between them. I never quite bought into to how intertwined the characters all were and no sparks had been noticed or explored before. I also did not enjoy any of the steamy moments in this book and there were quite a few. Since that's a personal opinion, I didn't let that affect my star rating at all. The ending was way too gratuitous for me, really I kind of hated it. Overall, the story had some good bones but wasn't a hit for me.

My Favorite Holidate is out October 7th! Thank you to Atria Books and Netgalley for my advanced e-arc!
