ENG
i felt overwhelmed and confused by this book. i don’t think i’ve picked it at the right time. there was something between the characters but there was also a lot of different things. and it looks like it wasn’t wise of me to read this book as a standalone.

This book stands alone even if you haven't read the two preceding volumes in the series, although I'm sure they would add some context for several supporting characters whose stories were told in those installments.
A slow start, lots of tension in the middle, and big rush of action at the end.
India Dashwood is a yoga instructor and incense maker. Ten years ago, she shared a magical moment with Yash Raje, who then ghosted her and left her heartbroken. Now, he suddenly turns back up in her life.
Yash is campaigning for governor of California. But when his bodyguard gets shot by a white-supremacist targeting Yash for bring South Asian, he finds himself unable to go back onstage to finish out his campaign. His family urges him to try yoga with India Dashwood, but he knows he wronged her many years ago.

There is only one way to describe this book. There is nothing wrong with it and it is just a 379page definition of happy fluffy romance.

China's relationship ark is really well done,
and it doesn't necessary end up with her with someone which I thought was good, even if it alludes to a romance between her and brandy, maybe they are just friends
she is not just a lesbian just because and that's not her only personality trait, there is more than 1 or two gay characters, the flaw the protagonists are put through actually make sense and are paced well.

Anyway, very good book, basically nothing wrong with it other than Naina becomes an ahole but even she has some growth and self reflection by the end of the book so I don't even have a problem with it. Very much well done happy romance vibes.
