This is more of a "here's how I adult" so if you're looking for a serious general talks etc this might not be it. Appreciate the humour inside and there are some that I could totally relate with my life. Love the way Arden talks openly about her experiences in becoming an adult, how she handles situations and stuff in a 'laid back' style. But honestly to me, this book is more of a story-ish book that people can relate and learned from. Regardless, I love the book and agree on most things written in the book. I've actually discover her through this book instead of from youtube.
This was exactly what I needed right now.
Arden is such a beautiful soul and this book perfectly encapsulates that. I think you can take what you want or need from each chapter, sort of like those posters with tear-offs on the bottom but with advice or tips like "how to learn to love and appreciate yourself," "how to move on and learn from your mistakes" and "how to toughen up and be the authoritative self you've always wanted to be."
I loved this book! It's not perfect, sure, and like many content creators/social media influencers-turned-authors, it may not be expertly written and it's a tad self indulgent. However, it was exactly what I was looking for in a simple, unspecific but optimistically realistic self-help book. Also, the illustrations were so lovely and created such an adorable atmosphere on each page.

Arden's book is phenomenally sex positive and well written. I am impressed.
Where was this when I needed it during High School???

I was expecting actual advice but this was more of a memoir-with-underlying-lessons kind of book. Still very enjoyable to read.
I'm very biased first of all. Because I am a huge fan of Arden Rose.
She's my internet god mother and I adore her soooooooooooooooo much.
When she announced she was coming out with a book, I was skeptical at first, because during that time youtubers were coming out with book after book. I don't know what would she write about after watching that aesthetically and cute trailer she released. AND! The title of the book.. I needed to read this book.
2018 me was a confused soon to be graduate quietly panicking young woman. I needed advice on how to navigate my life after college. Unfortunately I couldn't read this book back then because I couldn't find the book anywhere so.. I just forgot about it. Thankfully now in 2020 I found it during a book sale and I picked it up!
Reading it now I can see parallels between the now 24 year old me and Arden. The things she discussed in this book is what every 20 something young woman is going through.
Her quirky and goofy personality definitely translates into the pages of this and I could not stop hearing her voice in my head while reading this book. It feels like she's in the room with me.
(not weird at all)
I've learned many things and was assured about certain doubts I had about my womanly struggles with life which includes my constant battle with mental health, weight, love life, balancing work and quality time, etc. After reading this I don't feel so alone anymore with my insecurities and my inner saboteur. It's a fun light read all around.

This was just okay. I did enjoy it, but it wasn't amazing.
I got what I expected.
Some of the segues were a bit odd, and I didn't quite follow along, but you could hear Arden's voice in the book, and it felt personal, which I thoroughly enjoyed.
All in all, I'm happy I read it. I was a quick and overall light read, and I know I'm gonna take with me some of the messages within this book for the years to come.
