Cute teen paranormal romance. More of a who done it than a romance. But Fran is 16 and being a Beloved of Ben's she is just too young still. I'm glad the author didn't push it like in the Twilight books.

This book was great. Francesca is a psychic who starts to fall for her best friend's brother who's a vampire. The plot isn't completely original but there's a twist with how the vampires are portrayed and the fact that Fran is freaking funny. I liked Maxwell's writing style and I will read Circus of the Darned.

I enjoyed this! I like Fran and Ben and all of the side characters. It was really fun and a good intro.

I was extremely pleasantly surprised by this book. I had no expectations at all, really. Well, perhaps I was expecting it to fall flat - a little. But I was very, very surprised when I actually found myself liking the book and the characters. It was nicely written, though I really don't like Fran's way of swearing, and it had a good flow. It's a YA version of Katie MacAlister's 'Dark Ones' series, and it wrks really well that way. Well, I'm off to read the next one in this series!

I don't really remember much about the story, I read it a few years ago. But if your a parent with a kid that is getting into vampires or the actual kid who is getting into vampires, its a fun read. At least from what I remember from being a teenager.

i liked this book a lot. i wish i had a beloved : (. i think this is one of my favorite vampire books other than the twilight series. i give this an a plus : )
