Well, I said I'd finish the series and I did... But it is so bad. Was this a "let's see how much sex and profanity we can sneak into the YA genre" experiment? I'd be do upset if I find my 12yo (above YA reading level) reading this. Parents beware.
This review is for all four books.
I quiet enjoyed it, even though I don't read scifi romance very often. I enjoyed each book couples and how well each was good for each other.

This book had me on my toes the whole time! I could not put it down! A great finale, I loved it!
This is the final book in this series that ties up all ends. Laous has been tracking down the secret keepers to get the stone he "needs", however the Keepers and their mates have managed to get to the last one before Laous could.
Avalon was born in the House of Royale and exhibits the same love of water that Xander does. We all know they have connections to the Minor Overlords of the houses but Xander is fighting the connection super hard. He see's how easy it was for the others to fall and he has made it his mission not to be the same. In doing so, Avalon thinks that he is an asshole. Which she says many times but that doesn't stop the attraction they have for each other.
Attraction aside they have a battle to win and I feel like Avalon just accepted this and went with the flow super easy. She was the last one in and definitely has questions about everything but she accepts it all as truth. She's never known anything other than what life has given her but in this new world she finds a home that she never had before. She has a closer connection to Callie in the way she was brought up, but of course she has a connection to the others as well.
The story continues with the big theme, however I would have liked more story between Xander and Avalon. I feel like there was less of them than the other keepers got in their stories. This one felt like it was made to finish the story instead of telling a new one all the same. That doesn't mean that I didn't enjoy it, I did. I'm just of the needy sort. It ties up all the loose ends and wraps it up with a pretty bow. It also gives the closure one might have needed. Sad to see it go!
