This was a weird one, as one would expect from Douglas Adams, but I thoroughly enjoyed it, even though I’m not completely sure I understood the ending.
This story made me laugh, ask myself some weird questions and I loved every minute. Can’t wait to read the next one. 4/5⭐️

This book is filled with wonderful writing that will make you laugh out loud one minute contemplate the entire human existence the next. Adams is a fantastically entertaining and clever writer.

I always have to take a break halfway through a Douglas Adams book. I did it with the first Hitchhikers and Dirk Gently and I did it with this. It’s ideas are hilarious and the pinnacle of comedy sci-fi but even though it is quite short it becomes a bit relentless for me to read in one sitting.

So I liked struggling through the first half, took a month break, then liked the second half! A fun book!

I enjoyed this book, especially the very end. It had been a pretty long time since I read the 1st book in this series so I found myself occasionally confused about what was happening in the beginning but most the details worked themselves out as I kept going. I really enjoyed the actually restaurant in the book also, I wasn't sure WHAT I was expecting it to be but I was pleasantly surprised.
