"Accidentally wedded to a werewolf" is the second book in the series but it's a standalone. Both books are set in a fictional small town in Alaska were monsters can live safely and openly. In this book we follow a family of werewolves that run an inn and Luna, a rich girl who gets stranded in the town. Oliver is next in line to become the alpha but after a traumatic event that affected the entire pack the current alpha doesn't feel he is ready yet. Oliver is grumpy and has isolated himself. Luna on the other hand is pure sunshine and very social. The two of them accidentally end up magically bonded and until the bond is broken they have to be close to each other.
I loved so many things in the book. I adored the small town setting and all the different monsters that live there. I loved how Luna helped them and how they accepted her. The found family theme was also beautiful and heartwarming. Oliver's pack embraced Luna and gave her something she was always missing and Luna helped Oliver heal.
The forced proximity was very entertaining and the chemistry between Luna and Oliver was explosive. Both Luna and Oliver grew so much as characters and I loved following their journey.
I can't wait to read more books set in this small town!

Luna is a bit spoiled; she loves her days of leisure, being pampered at the spa, and living off her father's money. But after car trouble leads her to the Musgrove Inn at Claw Haven (a town for monsters), a slip-up causes her to accidentally marry the grumpy werewolf inn owner—despite her own wedding being just around the corner! Luna must stay in Claw Haven with Oliver and his tight-knit family until they can undo the ritual that married them. Straying too far from each other causes Oliver terrible pain, so as Luna explores what she can do to entertain herself in the small town (no luxury pampering here!), Oliver has to tag along, and they might just start to grow closer...

Okay, I think Isabelle Taylor is fast becoming one of my favourite authors (and while I love her books under her other pen name, this one is more my vibe being cosy monster romances)! This was the perfect cosy read, with so many cosy themes including the perfect small town setting, a cute romance (though at times, if this had been a tv show I may have screamed at them to admit their feelings for each other lol), and really fun activities that Luna does as she decides that she wants to help the town with their marketing. But not only were the vibes perfect, I also loved the character development and their backstories, even Luna's which was as "spoiled heiress" as the blurb describes, but her actual character was more than that to show that she was a caring person who was more than who her parents brought her up to be. I have the ARC for Christmas with a Chimera on my Kindle so I'm excited to pick that up in the next few days!
Thank you so much to Isabelle Taylor for this ARC in exchange for a review, all opinions are my own

"Are you sure? Californians don’t have the best luck on Claw Heaven roads in the winter." This line had me wheezing! 🤣
As a Southern Californian myself, I felt personally attacked. There’s definitely some truth to it if you are from Southern CA.
This cozy rom-com brings a delightful mix of small-town charm, forced proximity, and playful banter, with some spicy moments sprinkled in. It’s a low-stakes, lighthearted read that had me laughing and swooning at the same time. The accidental marriage twist adds a fun layer to the romance.
Not gonna lie, Luna annoyed me at times. She’s the epitome of a spoiled Valley Girl, which makes her a bit irritating, and coming from a fellow Californian raised between CA and Baja, that's saying something! I know valley girls can sometimes be a lot be a lot, but Luna? She takes the cake. Thankfully, Luna meets her match with Mr. Grumpy Wolfie, Oliver. He’s resistant to change, wary of outsiders, and set in his ways... but it helps that he's hot! Sparks fly as they’re forced into close proximity though a bond, and things quickly get steamy, they can’t deny the chemistry between them, and as their bond strengthens, so do their feelings for one another.
Overall, Accidentally Wedded to a Werewolf is a cute, cozy read with plenty of heart.
Perfect if you're looking for something light and entertaining!

Loved it!
So thankful for the opportunity to read this book before release day! I had to sign up for this book after reading the snowed in with the succubus.
It was soo cute. I loved our FMC and MMC. It was so fun following them get to know each other over the two months they were bonded together. A whole ordeal with that and you should read the book to find out. Anyway they both really were able to open up. Him with his guilt for his family of an accident that happened the year prior and is the reason they moved to Claw Haven.
For her she was able to do things she loved and everyone was praising her for a good job. She isn’t used to this because her family dismissed her a lot and didn’t cheer her on. She actually is great and helped the town grow even!
I was so worried at the end that she would realize her feelings too late but I loved the way she handled it at the end!

ARC review!
I can always tell when I've just finished a 5-star book when I have to wait a day before beginning a new one. This was one of those books. After finishing, I needed to luxuriate in how good it was for a while. I loved both MCs' character arcs, and how the couple made each other want to be better people. I loved how the MCs were both grumpy at each other at first but slowly warmed up. I loved how the decisions they made in the end were motivated by the future they wanted for the version of themselves they'd become. Absolute kicky-feet fangirl screeching loved this book.
If you loved Alexis Rose in Schitt's Creek but wish it could've worked out with her and Ted, you'll love this book too!
