An intriguing—very intriguing—premise, an incomprehensible game of cards, more twists than a loaf of stokbrood and a Christie stand-in, I had high hopes for this book but for once, I didn’t think AC pulled off an atmosphere suitably creepy for the discussion of all these murderers.
