This was the second time I’ve read this book and my opinion of it has totally changed. It was a really dark MC romance but as opposed to the first time I read it this didn’t bother me at all. I was really moved by CJ and her ability to soldier on even after every thing that she had been through. And her connection with Axe was so strong that I couldn’t help being invested in their story.

I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

Axe's Devotion is one fast paced story. Book 3 of the Devil's Riot MC: Southeast series continues the ongoing mystery of the Supreme Masters. This is Axe's and Cy's story. After Axe lost his family (sister and father), he decided to never allow anyone get close to him again. Cy came with lots of secrets to Southeast chapter from the Franklin chapter. She has a history similar to Ally with a bad cult. She is on the run fleeing whenever cult members get too close. When Axe first lays eyes on Cy, she is it for him. He has met the woman meant to be his and claims her.

This story is full of action, action and more action. It pulls in the other members of the DRMC (from South Carolina and Tennessee chapters) and the Toxic Warriors MC. These guys are beginning to see more pieces of the mystery that is The Supreme Masters. Axe is mega alpha. He vows to protect Cy with everything he has. Cy feels things for Axe that she never has for anyone. Their chemistry is off the charts.

Axe's Devotion along with the other books in the DRMC series contains violence and difficult themes that may be triggers for some. This story ties together several ol' ladies of the chapters and the death of Hammer's family to The Supreme Masters and The Delivers. The story has romance, suspense and mystery. Once you pickup the story you will read it straight through; it definitely held my attention. The Southeast chapter is unfolding to have honorable and loyal men and women. I can't wait to see where this all leads.
