Great Read

This was an enjoyable read. I finally got to read this book after two months of trying to read it and I am glad that finally got to read it. This is the first book in the I, Funny series. This book revolves around Jamie Grimm's quest to be Long Island's newest and best kid comedian. I thought Jamie was a great character. I related to his character because he is brave. Although he has a wheelchair, he is willing to put himself out there and deliver jokes that are funny. I really liked it. I think this book has taught me some valuable life lessons. I cannot wait to continue with this book series. I really liked the ending. I just wished that there was more added to the story. I can't wait to read book 2. Overall, a great read.

Wimpy Kids fans will enjoy getting to know Jamie Grimm, whose backstory is slowly uncovered over the course of a tale in which Jamie decides to enter the America's Funniest Kid contest.

Laughing is better than the alternative. Behind all the jokes there is a story. Not a skyscraper, but... Definitely worth the read.

So I grabbed this audio book from my local library for no particular reason. I was trying to see if I liked audio books, trying it out and for my first choice, I’d say I did pretty good.

It was also my first James Patterson experience. The book was hilarious and amazingly funny. I’m sure that middle grade students would really enjoy this book. It will keep you laughing the entire time.

I suggest the audio book because it is awesome. The boy reading it brings so much humor in such a “dry” voice that makes it even funnier.
