Ahhhhh I’m really enjoying this series it’s making me verrrry EXCITED to read!
The second book following A Court of Thorns and Roses. Follows Feyre and how she manages to cope after her experience under the mountain. Also maintaining her bargain with Rhysand.
What I liked about this book?
- Wow, just wow.
- I am so confused how you love certain characters in the first book and by the end of this book you are all for other characters
- Sarah has written this so well
- Lots of twists and turns
- Romance in all the right places
- Loved this book

What an amazing book! I enjoyed every single page, every single word. Truly a masterpiece.
I didn't plan any "official" review for this series on my blog, but I cannot leave you guys hanging!
And, adding to that, I just have to gush a little bit over this.
Because... What was that?! This book had me hooked practically immediately, had me gasping for air at points. Including snorts at some.. fun comments [wingspan?] that were made.
And let's not forget the fact that I was red as a tomato during certain chapters - because I'm never really alone when reading and some things you just have to read when nobody's around to monitor your facial expressions, okay?!
Safe to say I absolutely loved this book. I love this world, I love the characters. [Okay, I created a little bit of hate for one of them..]
I cannot give A Court of Mist and Fury anything less than 5 / 5.
So looking forward to reading the sequel!

If not for the urging of friends, I would have given up on ACOTAR after the first book. Fortunately Maas brought new skills to this sequel, and I’m surprised to say I quite liked it. The story is vast and sweeping, it has some intriguing character development, and the writing is much improved from its predecessor.
But seriously, girl, can we stop using the words shred, bone, and purr? They don’t need to be on every page.
This book may not belong in the halls of great literature, but it’s fun escapism and a leap forward. I’ll definitely continue the series if this trend continues.
