With such a great title, I was hoping for big things from this book. But it ended up a big disappointment. The science within is presented from the "women are this way, men are that way" due to hormones school of thought; reading such unqualified absolutes makes me seethe, both for the bad science and for the inaccurate and damagingly sexist underlying message that biology is destiny. Had to finally pick up and start reading my copy of Cornelia Fine's [b:Delusions of Gender: How Our Minds, Society, and Neurosexism Create Difference|8031168|Delusions of Gender How Our Minds, Society, and Neurosexism Create Difference|Cordelia Fine|https://d2arxad8u2l0g7.cloudfront.net/books/1348833681s/8031168.jpg|12635310] to get a more intelligent approach to the issue of sex/brain differences.

Very heteronormative with lots of "men just aren't as sensitive as women" and "women are natural caretakers." I liked the premise of medicating less, but not the idea that exercise and better (straight) sex will fix everything.
