The set up for this story was so good, I thought we were going to get some plot for the next novel. Some big segueway into Will’s book. But we got crumbs.

I don’t like Michael enough as a character to care about this story. Rica still deserves better, in my opinion.

It was a rlly quick read since it’s only a novella. But it did build up to nightfall and we get a lil more of Damon and his kid and winter. But the majority of the book was in Rika’s perspective and the main problem in the book was about Rika and Micheal even though they did talk about Will a lot and everyone was together in this book which I rlly liked. This book also had a fair share of smut even for its small length. But we also learned a bit more ab Alex which was nice.

I was so confused for the first half of this. I was also so worried for Rika and Michael ngl. Also I feel like this is giving backstory for Will’s story.
