This book was honestly not what I expected. For some reason, I thought it was going to be a fiction book with a lot of political commentary and advice in it. But it was just pure non-fiction with political ideas and observations. And unfortunately, I just do not think I was the target audience for this. I would say that I am a political person who is interested in politics, but in a more current events and improving society way. I honestly do not care or want to know how to become a political leader myself. Because that is what it felt like the goal of this book was. Also the feeling of not being the right reader for this book continued because this book includes an abundance of references to historical figures and events that completely went over my head. I swear you would either have to know every piece of historical info or you would have to stop every two sentences to google something to really understand this book, and that is not a reading experience that I am down for. Overall I would not recommend this book to the majority of people.
