i loved both characters but didn’t like the plot that much lol

This was great. I read it so fast and looked forward to every opportunity where I could pick it up and get back into the story. Sarina Bowen is quickly becoming a go-to author for me. The characters are well thought out and each have a distinct story. There are hints throughout of who might be in the next book, so it’s fun trying to figure out that mystery as well. The hockey is entertaining and moves the plot. Vincent is an ass and I was happy with that outcome. I’m looking forward to the next book.

REALLY enjoyed this story. O'Doul is a fascinating character. I would totally read another book that focused on him. What a multidimensional character!

Didn’t like that it was a narration the whole time, makes you feel like an outsider. I found it less immersive

Patrick O'Doul starts having feelings for the team's massage therapist and yoga instructor, Ari Bettini. Ari just got out of a toxic long-term relationship, and she is not looking to get involved with one of her clients. Super steamy with relatable characters. I'm really enjoying this hockey romance series. I wish I read them in order instead of bouncing around and starting with the third book in the series.

Huh. I guess this one really wasn’t for me. I think the worst part of it was that there’s nothing I can point to that felt specifically wrong. The overall reading experience just was.... bland.

same as #1
I read it in one sitting.

they both have issues and the drama is written well so it does not feel over the top soap-opera-ish

so off I go to read #3
