Book two/Ari and Patrick. I enjoyed this read so much
Another AMAZIIIIIIIING hockey romance by Sarina Bowen! Like I swear she is the QUEEN at making my heart so incredibly happy!!!!!! I am in love with Patrick O'Doul!
Ariana has had bad luck when it comes to men. Her ex-boyfriend has left her damaged and she is still stuck dealing with the drama he has left behind. Not wanting to get involved with anyone else, Ari focuses on her job as yoga teacher and massage therapist for the Brooklyn Bruisers. Patrick is doesn't know how much longer he can continue fighting on the ice as his body is starting to reject the beatings. After the drama he has gone through in his own life, Patrick does not want to get close enough to anyone to build a serious relationship. However, seeing Ari for treatment on his hip has him singing a different tune.
I ABSOLUTELY ADORED Patrick!!!! Omggg seriously sooo freaking sweet! He has had to deal with so much in his life and I was totally swooning over how cute him and Ari were! After reading the first book, I wasn't a huge fan of Patrick but wow did that change in like the first page!
And I seriously LOVED Ari! Even though she had so much drama to deal with due to her ex, she was amazingly strong. I loved seeing her become closer friends with both Becca and Georgia! All the women in this series are seriously awesome!
This book touches on a lot of hard times and at times can get pretty angsty. It was one of those books that I seriously could not put down even for a second. Thank you Sarina Bowen for nailing it EVERY TIME!!
