This reminded me of the movie Suckerpunch. That was terrible too.

It  didn’t grab me. The main character was boring and I didn’t find her relatable at all. I was also confused by the world building and couldn’t figure out if it was in the normal world, a dystopia, or a complete fantasy one. 

I felt like I’d stumbled into the Victorian era but like it was unintentional. 

Just not for me.

Overall I liked this book, but I spent so much of the time confused while reading it. I genuinely think my ostrich brain is to blame.

This book is definitely in my top 10 favorite books for 2022 so far. I read it in one sitting and could not stop. I fell in love with the characters and I cannot wait To read more about their story.

No me ha gustado nada. Los primeros libros de las sagas me suelen encantar, pero es que aquí me he enterado a medias del setting, de la protagonista, de la trama y de todo.
He de reconocer que es oscuro y muestra escenas muy turbias, pero eso es lo que mejor narrado está. Las interacciones de la protagonista CON TODO EL MUNDO me resultan confusas cuanto menos, y encuentro muchísimo Deus Ex.
