My full review can be found on the Epilie Aspie Chick blog!

The entire series is told in a dual narrative, which felt organic and necessary for the first two stories. In the first book, you see Audra as a guardian and Vane as a guy who learns what he is. In the second book, they're separated and working towards different goals. In the third, it feels pointless because the reason for the different perspectives isn't as essential.

Update: this was a pretty good conclusion to the Sky fall series. It dealt with the situation that arose in the second book. It had a nice amount of action/drama as well as some downtime and plotting time. There was some romance, but I like how, even though it technically is a YA fantasy romance book, thats not...the whole plot, or mostly driving the plot. Sure, love and romance are underlying the plot, and the choices the characters make, but its not THE plot itself, least not in my opinion. There is so much more to this book, and the rest. Like the meaning of takingc are of yourself, putting yourself first, what it means to fight for yourself and your friends, etc. Most importantly, the power behind working together, and not against one another. The power of peace, not violence. The power in love, not hate.
Additionally, The dialogue/travel scenes were fast paced and overall this series it just a really easy read that manages to touch your heart and soul. I love Vane and Audra. I like how they go through the regular couple ups and downs and least they address them, ahah, eventually. I love how it ended. It felt right, it felt just. however, that does not mean I would not like to see more of them in the future. Pleaseee let there be a novella someday <3

Hey guys, so i just finished Let the WInd Rise(Sky Fall#3) by Shannon Messenger, and *sighs* I cant believe this is the end of the road for Vane and Audra. They have gone through so much, they deserve to be happy for once in their freakin lives. I absolutely loved the last book. I was trying to grasp every, single, little detail that portrayed these characters storyline. I really enjoyed the action and thrills that tagged along in the plot. Honestly, I am surprised I was able to put it down. Additionally, loved, loved, loved the fleeting, teasing and silky romance that depicted some of the books essence. Also, I could not get enough of Vane's humor in tense situations, or his banter to and fro Solana and Audra. Another thing I admire in this storyline, Is that, wait.... not sure if i can tell you guys without spoiling it... dang it... Moving on, love Messengers writing style; not to much detail, but not to little, swift and easy script, and just splendid adventure seeeping through the ink. As I mentioned before, I am greatly sadden to finish the book, but their stories will remain bonded in my soul. (Skyfall fans will get that reference).

Other books in the series
Let the Sky Fall(#1)
Let theStorm Break(#2)
Let the Wind Rise(#3)

This was pretty good series, but nothing special for me personally. I only read the whole series because the author wrote another series I liked and I wanted to see what else she did. I liked the storyline and the characters were very archetypal (not super originally sorry) this is a great badass girl/softer guy story for people whoo like that, and I enjoyed the perspective of the fight of good and evil not being black and white and how power can corrupt but not if used selflessly. That was cool. But overall. meh.

I think this was a really good ending. I've enjoyed this entire series and I'm glad to say this one does not disappoint! There is only one death of a favourite character, so that's not too bad. And it was a happy ending, which I think I was in need of. I would definitely recommend this series.
