First book in this series is a winner! This is a new to me author so it’s the first book I have read. Daya, a human bounty hunter goes in search of a perp and meets Leighton a fox shifter. Didn’t get a lot of backstory on each character so when things came up, felt kinda thrown at you. But I really enjoyed the dynamic between the main characters. As a female and as a human Daya was not diminished in this book which was great. Action, shifting, one bed, and some smokin hot smexy times made this a great read and I look forward to reading more from this author.

I liked the two MCs. They have great chemistry together. I was a bit confused by some of the terminology used since this was my first fox shifter book. It needs some additional editing, especially with the tense and sentence structure, but overall it was an enjoyable read.
