It's a bit hard to get through because the main character is very unlovable, but the book is written in a very captivating and novel way.

It was very hard for me to read since it's really slow paced and the story doesn't seem to get to any point. I was out when he didn't know whether the girl he slept with was 14.

I thought there was going to be a plot but it’s literally just a pov of a man who hates woman. Whoever recommended this book to me count your days.

Read this book if you want to hear a privileged white man whine and complain about his super successful life while also hating women a lot and wishing actual violence and pain on them and also being an alcoholic! He also is extremely hypocritical, getting angry at women for playing him when he has done that multiple times and worse to women. Aww waa waa a girl screwed you over boo hoo :( . The fact that it is supposedly an autobiography (which I am not sure I believe) makes me a bit ill, because I am also currently reading Men Who Hate Women by Laura Bates, so I know that even if this book is fictional, men who behave and think exactly like this really do exist in the modern world (which is terrifying). And this book isn't even misogynistic in a social commentary way, just in a "this guy sucks so bad" kind of way. But yeah I can agree that this guy has been wasting oxygen his whole life! Overall, I regret reading it, even though it was kind of enjoyable at some points in a Nihilistic way.
Read from the Provo library.

Well, at least this wasn’t boring! I like to think this book is actually a letter to the authors self as the entire book seemed to be written out of self pity. He claims he’s a bad person only to 5 seconds later repute “I don’t deserve this!!!” and exclaim how oh so sad his life is when meanwhile he’s making 300k per year and living in a mansion and, in his words not mine, is surrounded by “beauts.” just MOST are married. I mean everything about the ended screams ‘FEEL BAD FOR ME!’ but uhhh no buddy, you brought this on yourself and you know it you’re just twisting the story to favor yourself. He was in a good relationship with a woman he claimed to love in the beginning but then ruined it. Then halfway through talked about the quote “love of his life” who ended it herself probably after learning he’s a misogynistic idiot (though he leaves that part out) but said they can be friends!!! For some reason he thinks him being a ‘friend’ means she hates him?? I mean what the heck. Even if she did it on purpose like he said to hurt him it wasn’t even that cruel compared to his actions!!! This is like an “Am I the a-hole?” Reddit story when they’re OBVIOUSLY the a-hole. And in this case the author should delete the post…
