This is a well written YA fantasy book.

The story line is well developed and I really enjoyed getting to know the characters and I am super intrigued to find out where the plot goes from here!

Holy effing WOWSERS! I knew the Jennifer L. Armentrout had blown me away before with her Lux series, but wow she has done it again with this series as well. This woman knows how to create a world, with fantastic characters, and amazing plot line, and hope beyond hope of things as well. However parts of it seemed almost to some point that I was reading Vampire Academy again, with the Trainer falling for the trainee and vice versa, the whole trainer goes out to seek the trainee, and an unbreakble bond formed right at the beginning. But you know what!? I don't care because I loved it in those books, and I'm loving it again in this one. Jennifer L. Armentrout has officially been made one of my most favorite authors.

Ok I liked this book but I also have a soft-spot for Jennifer Armentrout. Yes I've heard that this book is ripped straight from Vampire Academy and I ahve to agree, it is very similar. I can see the connections. Still I enjoyed the story and if anything was disappointed with the romance. Armentrout is my main author when it comes to romance, but with this story it seemed forced. The characters were just thrown together. That was my biggest criticism with this book. Also it is supposed to be about gods and mythical stuff but it lacked that for me. It was just teen drama and teen issues, which was disappointed. I would suggest to read this book only of you just need to read something to read on a nothing to do kind of day. However I would suggest if your new to reading Armentrout novels that you start with her Lux Series, its got romance, aliens and a great female lead. I've reread it at least four times.

Realmente me gustó el libro, el único problema es que prácticamente es la misma historia de Vampire Academy D:
Espero que en los libros que vienen las similitudes disminuyan y logre sorprenderme c:

De todas maneras lo recomiendo :)

Bellissimo libro! Non vedo l'ora di leggere il seguito.
Personaggi ben costruiti e molto interessanti.
Alex è il prototipo della protagonista femminile che piace a me: coraggiosa e simpatica.
Aiden ti fa innamorare di lui. Severo, ma anche dolce si capisce che farebbe di tutto per Alex.
Seth è come una carta nascosta, non l'ho ancora inquadrato a perfezione.
Insieme questi tre personaggi formano un bel triangolo che ci darà molte soddisfazioni in futuro... Ne sono convinta.
Anche i personaggi secondari sono ben descritti e hanno molto potenziale che si spera venga utilizzato nel secondo libro.
Ancora una volta Jennifer L. Armentrout ci regala un libro pieno di sentimenti e una nuova serie da non lasciarsi perdere!

E adesso ci tocca aspettare fino a novembre per il seguito.
