i HATE the ravens bro fuck them all

I thought this would be a continuation with the Foxes so I read the first few chapters at arms length waiting for a switch to a Foxhole setting. But then I got Jeremy and Jean and I breezed through it too.
I don’t know that I resonated with this as much as the first part of the series, but I still gasped and giggled and fumed and cried and I am looking forward to reading the next one.
dark tense

first 1/3 of the book was such a slog but the rest?? jeremy is the best. breath of fresh air from all the gang members and mafiosos and whatever. i love him and his stupid yoyo and his shitty pottery class and his cardboard cutout of a golden retriever

The Trojans are such a different team from the Foxes (and Ravens). They aren't dirty, which makes them trying to help Jean SEEM admirable even when they should just learn when to leave him alone.

Aside from that, I thought the beginning was a little choppy. I could tell Nora edited some parts (namely Jean's non-romantic relationship with Thea) out and I felt that he suffered a little extra due to it. It would've been interesting to see him interact with a former Raven that didn't have new allegiances yet (not Grayson, obviously).

Review 2:
IT HAPPENED !!!! Technically 4.5 stars but I loved it and I would like info on whether there is gonna be a next book (and said next book) asap pleaseee.

I’ve reread tfc so many times I’m quite desensitised to the violence so this was a bit jarring to remind myself of all the death and pain :)))))))

Thoughts:
- I love Jean so much omg he needs a hug so bad
- I am actually Jeremy but with worse physical fitness
- The amount of times I got their names mixed up, Nora why would u do that to me
- My rating was lowered bc i think the first hundred pages could have been written in a chapter - but i also don’t mind that much rereading trk from jean’s pov! I also think the bit at the end was a bit random but all the Jeremy x Jean scenes were perfect perfect perfect. This book has made me so happy, I’m so excited for the next one that I’m manifesting happening please and thank u and for summer where I have time to read!!

Anyway book 5 WHEN?
