Me lo he leído en dos noches en las que he dormido 2h cada una.

Jean siempre fue mi prefe y poder no solo reencontrarme con él sino conocerle por dentro y verle encontrar su camino es terapia para mí.

Nora siempre me da ganas de seguir escribiendo, es increíble ver que ella también sigue haciéndolo, y lo mucho que ha mejorado me deja sin palabras.

Foxhole ya me reseteó la vida en 2017, no me puedo creer que haya vuelto a pasar 7 años después.

Nora you’ve done it again but this time you’ve  left me devastated. 

Jean you poor ,poor soul. In Neil’s story we saw the violence of the ravens over the course of a month, but seeing Jean recount his years with them through his trauma was just overwhelmingly devastating. Seeing how deep the trauma cut and just how badly it affected him just hurt me so bad. 

I am Jean Moreau. I belong to the Moriyamas. I will endure . I will endure. I will endure 

Some might say this story was too slow compared to the aftg trilogy and the sunshine court lacks an overarching plot. It is true that in Neil’s story we have the end goal of being the champions in exy. And this story is mainly centered around just Jean as a character as a person not just a player. While this book lacks the tension of a reckless exy game, it makes up for it in drama and emotion. I do believe though that if you were not at all interested in Jean at all in aftg or just how deep the abuse in evermore runs, then you will not like this book.
But if you’re like me and all it takes is a powerful (emotionally) and attaching story for you to be sucked in… then you will love this. I’m an easy target though and I fear all it takes for me to rate a book 5 stars is if it made me feel. And oh boy did this book give me the feels :(

I really loved the theme of family (whether it be real or found) present but in the bg of this book.

My only gripe with this book is that I wish when we got Jeremy's pov it wasn’t so centered around jean . Like it was cool!! to see what he thought about the things Jean said, but I wish we got to see more of his life and his story more because he is such an interesting and kind (but not a pushover) character. But that might come later also.
