Ihsan has my whole heart. This grumpy/sunshine trope was all I ever wanted it to be. The minute I saw the cover and knew it was going to be about Ihsan, I couldn’t wait to read it. It is such a beautiful thing to watch this poor tortured man become happy. Oh my goodness this series. I have been swept away!! Such an underrated series.

I'm still processing this book. So much happened.  SO MUCH.

I was hooked by every page turn. Ihsan's trauma. Nesrin's secrets. Behram's evil! 

So many plot twists. I could predict some but was still intrigued when they happened.  However, there were a few twists that left me open-mouthed as I sped read through them. 

I can't wait to read the next book in this series. All I really want to know is, what the hell is Behram doing with the glasses, and what's happening to Naime?
