Wow, an amazing novel! I'm shocked it's their debut cuz they did everything perfectly?? like no mistakes at all? I'm flabbergasted at such a hidden gem

It was a pretty good book. It was enjoyable but after a while it became kind of stale. If there was a sequel I wouldn't look for it/buy it but I would check it out of a library without hesitation.

Puzzles and investigations by younger characters into a conspiracy to unseat Charles II of England. Lots of decoding and games within games. It was fun.

Normally, I'm not thrilled about fantasy. However, this is a great book! A quick, easy read. Christopher Rowe is an apprentice to Master Benedict. Christopher is great at solving puzzles and following clues and he will need to do both in order to solve the crime of his Master's death. Set in the Middle Ages in England. Nominated for the Beehive Book Award in Children's Literature.

This book was amazing! From start to finish it had me on the edge of my seat solving codes along with the main character. Everything's connected and beautifully thought out. 👍🏼
