Easiest 5 star review I’ve written all year. What a treasure this audio book is. I can’t imagine experiencing it any other way. Amazing.  Well done.

Really good and definitely something you should pick up as a SF fan. This was the longest book I've read for leisure so far and it was all enjoyable. I will for sure be reading more from this author.

I also think it's one of those books where you are better off going in without knowing too much so I tried to be vague.

Pros
- story was interesting throughout
- I enjoyed the interactions between the main characters and I grew to like most characters
- there were many suspenseful moments but not to the point where it was hard to read
- many funny moments as well as some emotional moments (I did tear up 3 times at the end)
- scientific descriptions weren't not too hard to follow

Cons
- There are often scientific explanations throughout the book. not really a con, just something to note if you don't find it interest. I would still try to book though!

A lot I enjoyed about this one, but man Weir’s main characters can be insufferable. I liked Watney when I read The Martian, but Grace takes his style of humor and dials it to 11, for the worse.
