This book was one of the first books that I enjoyed to read. The main character, Ada has endured much trauma, and her struggles are depicted realistically. None of the characters in this book are black and white. It is hard to see some events in the book as good or bad; the book is a constant grey area. I would recommend looking at the trigger warnings.
Graphic: Emotional abuse, Child abuse, Physical abuse, Ableism, Panic attacks/disorders, Toxic relationship, and War
Moderate: Death, Mental illness, Medical content, Abandonment, and Injury/Injury detail
Minor: Death of parent and Classism
