A mystery with a touch of magical realism. My most favourite genre/sub-genre in one book.
Evelyn Hardcastle will be killed over and over again, and Aiden Bishop had to identify her killer to stop the cycle. The days will keep on repeating, but Aiden will wake up as eight different guests and seeing the situation from different point of views to solve the case.
This is a totally unique story and it will captivate you from the start. The story is complex, but I like it that way. The twists keep on coming, but it will be natural and not forced. This book has included magical realism in the plot lines, with a lil bit of sci-fi, so further explanation on why/how something happened had no needs to be explained.

How this is someone’s debut novel I will never understand. This is such an intricate book, filled with detail and intrigue.
Aiden finds himself stumbling to a hunting lodge in someone else’s body, with no idea how he got there. Aiden is in a time loop, destined to live the same few days over and over again. The young Evelyn Hardcastle will die later that night, Aiden’s task? Save her, and as a reward he will be freed from the loop.
