The Wrong Family by Tarryn Fisher

The beginning was too slow and mysterious, and by the time twists and answers came, I didn't care. I read a plot summary online just to see what happened, and it was too erratic and over the top, worse than a frieda book.

I’m between 3 and 4 stars for this one. Trying not to let her other book The Wives influence this rating because I definitely liked it better but all books should be rated on their own.

The Wrong Family had some interesting surprises and some OK characters. Juno, for me, was by far the most interesting character. I found Winnie nearly intolerable. Nigel was mostly boring but necessary. Dakota’s (brother-in-law) story line seemed to progress almost unbelievably quickly. Sam was another necessary character but didn’t have a ton of depth.

Overall, a good thriller that I’m happy to have read but may be forgetting soon.

This book was just ok. I liked the idea of the plot but it just got weird and disjointed at the end. I didn't really care for any of the characters ---- so that was weird, too.
