A friend who is a professor of religion recommended this book to gain a broad brush of the various spiritual logics that exist. While I went in with an open mind, I just couldn't get it. It seems over-written and an attempt to bring a mystical/magical perspective to a few simple tenets. I respect those who get something out of this book, but I did not.
