Enjoyable, found some of the chapters boring and a slog.

I wish I'd known about this book sooner.  I would have read it faster but was limited by my lack of knowledge regarding Sicilian history which I am pleased to now have some familiarity with it.

A lush, lyrical portrait of the decadent, anxious edge of modernity, The Leopard sometimes reads like poetry and its imagery is so rich, you'd be hard pressed to remember you aren't actually using all five senses.
