C is for Cthulhu is an alphabet book for kids. There is a page for each letter of the alphabet and artwork and a little snippet of prose depicting a character, place, or feature from the Cthulhu Mythos whose name begins with that letter. I think you get the idea.

I got this for being a Kickstarter backer for Sweet Dreams, Cthulhu, an upcoming kids book, and it is pretty damn sweet.

The artwork is spectacular, cute but still somewhat disturbing. The thing the artwork most reminds me of is Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker. Almost all of my favorite Lovecraftian beasties are well represented. From Abdul Al-Hazred to Zombies, the artwork knocks it out of the park. If I had to pick three favorite illustrations, they would be Black Goat with a Thousand Young, Hastur, and Shoggoth.

This particular digital version also includes unused concept art and some new art that had to be created for foreign editions.

I couldn't be more delighted with this book. If you want to start blasting some youngster's sanity at an early age, I couldn't think of a better place to start. Five out of five stars.

Entertaining and well-illustrated. If it had also rhymed, I would have given it 5 stars.

I got this for my granddaughter. It is pretty hilarious. As an alphabet book, it has its drawbacks. I have no idea how to pronounce a lot of these names. But for kids who like monsters, this could be really fun. My 26yo thought it was hilarious too. It comes as a children's board book, but I got it as a kindle because I just don't have much room for books. I might have to get the board book to give as a gift.

I've been asking for our library to get this book for AGES!! I was also frequently checking if it could be had through our incredible interlibrary loan system with no success.

Until last week! Interlibrary finally found it!

This book is as fun and delightful and ghoulish (on a children's level) as I'd hoped!

Very different version of an alphabet book. It brings some strange creatures and dark images to light. The illustrations are great and show some unique creations and so much creativity!

I loved this book and know at least one little boy that will love it just as much. The drawings are beautiful and make scary things look adorable. The descriptions are brief yet apt for anyone that enjoys lovecraft. If you have little ones in a house filled with tabletop games or other Lovecraftian impacts, I can't encourage a book any more than this one.
