ANOTHER ADULT FIC WITH ADULTERY WOW WHAT A NOVEL PLOT POINT.
But the creepy fantasy elements coming into the real world and a very old murder coming to light was cool. I just wished there was more resolution at the end - I had many questions that weren't answered (but I'm sooo picky with my endings). Anywayssss mediocre in the very predictable adultery plot line but with some really pretty artwork on the cover so it'll stay on my bookshelf.

2.5 stars for this one but I'm going to go up because I may be rating it lower due to the book not being what I wanted it to be. In the Night Wood was bleak. It was not a vibrant or uplifting book in any way and where that may have been okay had it fallen on the horror spectrum, I expected more. I suppose that is my review in a few words: I expected more.
