This book is great. It's a small town murder mystery ans ghost story all in one. Robert love's pencils are awesome. Everything is clear and the characters all look super distinct. I love the little extra touches (in the background one panel there is an homage to bluto and popeye) The mystery itself is great. Yes, it is kid stuff, but it is well executed kid stuff. There is no big deus ex or randomly inserted plot point along the way. Everything is laid out for you if you pay attention. Some of the minor themes are awesome as well. There is no subtlety when dealing with racism or class issues in this book and that is welcome. I just wish there would be more stories with any of these characters.
