I liked the creativity of making the vines the villain in this horror and the various ways the vines torture the characters. However, I found most of the characters to be shallow and unlikable. Like caricatures of young adults. I felt that Jeff and Mathias were the only characters that were given any substance. Therefore, I didn't really care what happened to the other characters. And this story is too drawn out for me to not care about characters.
