I absolutely loved this book! As soon as I heard it was a country music romance I was sold, but I wasn’t expecting the amount of emotional depth and turmoil. This book sucked me in from page one and I was so invested in the characters. I really emotionally connected with them all and was so moved by their story.
I love a second chance romance and this one was so unique. Seeing Sal begin to learn about Luke again and start to trust him was just beautiful and made me cry a few times. Their love was so deep and pure and I loved it.
I also adored all the side characters, especially Seth and Lacey, so am really excited for the others in this series as I want to see more of them all!
This book also had a great thriller element to it which kept me on the edge of my seat and made it even more addictive. I don’t want to give spoilers for this element, but it added a lot to the plot and kept the book really engaging. This plus the growing, sometimes steamy romance, made this book the perfect combo. I highly recommend this abs cannot wait to read more by Ava.
