I always look forward to spending time with Doc, Lew & Ray on my "visits" to Loon Lake. The only problem is, I think I'm working my way through this series too quickly.

The fish are never safe in the waters around loon Lake but in Dead Hot Shot by Victoria Houston credit cards are also in danger. Someone is stealing the information and a lot of money. This soon leads to murder and mayhem. With a little fishing thrown in.

I kind of liked it because it's set in Wisconsin and I was familiar with the places, type of people, etc. But I found mistakes in time sequences that kind of bothered me and probably should have been caught and corrected during editing - like when they asked the girls what they had been doing the night before when their foster mother was shot. They said they had been doing their school work to get ready for the beginning of the week & had watched Masterpiece Theater. Well, the day she was shot was Thanksgiving - in Wisconsin there's never school the Friday after Thanksgiving and Masterpiece Theater is always on Sunday night.

And people from Wisconsin don't really say 'doncha know'.
