Another play read for my dissertation... I almost have no idea what I just read... it's about a soldier called Don Juan, who returns back from WWI to Germany. He's not fully recovered, both physically and mentally, from the war and the play is about him waiting for a letter from his love which will never arrive. And all the women around Don Juan throwing themselves at him. There's 35 women in this play... I think what's stopping me from liking this play is it's absurdity, and perhaps something being lost in translation. But then the play could also reflect Don Juan's mental state. I don't know. All I know is that this play was confusing but I can probably use it in my work.
