I went into this book blind and had a wonderful experience. I loved the characters who were all fairly rough around the edges but still relatable (despite some not even being human) and found a few scenes funny enough I laughed out loud which is rare for me.
I enjoyed it from the start but the latter half really kicked things into high gear for me- with the funny commentary about a range of topics from capatalism to drug abuse that still managed to be sharp enough to sting, all using the backdrop of a typical fantasy setting.
