I first read this book in 6th grade and just now decided to re-read it for the nostalgia.It is very much a book a 6th grader would read lmao, it was not as good as I remember it to be. The main character is overly cheesy and just sounds like a milienial who has no clue what a real teenager thinks or feels when writing it, the pacing often eitheir goes too fast or too slow, and the plot goes all over the place in certain areas.Going back to what I said about the mc I feel like she had no real character development in this series which is disappointing. With all the negatives out the way, this book has its moments. It was an enjoyable read to pass the time and the romance was very cute and progressed nicely. Dont recommend it but if you have nothing to read and are extremely bored then go ahead

decided to rr this series because it was one of my favorites in middle school and its just as good as i remember! the writing is pretty simple and young so it is a very easy and quick read, but that doesnt make it any less engaging! the kind of fast paced novel perfect for getting you out of a book slump.
