It's a little similar to Good People (also his) whch I loved.

General gist: four friends are going along in their lives. They're doing okay--not great, but well enough--when they decide to get ahead by robbing a drug deal at the place one of them works. It's not going to get them the kind of money that will let them quit their jobs and live insanely well for the rest of their lives, but it'll be enough to make things better.

Not surprisingly, it all spirals out of control rather quickly and their friendship is tested by two big things: the stress that comes when you know that very bad people are after you and the stress that comes from not quite being able to really trust the people that are in the situation with you.

Another really amazing book by Marcus Sakey. :)
