As much as I love Mac Barnett's other books, I can't recommend this one. It's too long and I found it dull.

This was SO MUCH FUN. Super whimsical and unexpected. And honestly the art in this book is so beautiful-- simple shapes with expressive color and line. I would love some of these pages as prints tbh. Also this book reminded me how much I love a good pizza

Just amazing. I highly recommend watching Mac & Shawn’s instagram reel versions of this graphic novel. Their voices and sound effects are perfect. I finished in print because I couldn’t wait for their videos to come out to find out if the cat ever got to eat pizza.

Stop the presses: THIS is the best ending in a piece of literature, nay, all media in 2022. You can't take it away from me or the people. Rolling Stones will retroactively stop existing, ice cream sandwiches sales will plummet - this is it, the ultimate satisfaction. DONE.
