This was a different kind of true crime story. The author gives clear and logical information with fact checking and interviews. She keeps out her person hunches and opinions. She was able to keep the narrative moving. For so much detail and information she gave us she was still able to keep it suspenseful. But my favorite part of this story wasn't the who did it nor the details and evidence that was presented. It wasn't even all the illustrations that was presented to us in the book. It was Michelle McNamara. Her story. Her drive, her dedication. Her obsession that I liked best.

Boring and too many random people to keep up with that are supposed to connect but by tiny threads. Plus, too much explanation about the author’s personal life at the beginning of the story.
